Nature’s Choice was founded in 1978 by Glennville native Julian Thomas. Mr. Thomas began processing unretained raw pine bark from local area sawmills into pine bark nuggets and mulch for utilization by nearby landscapers and nurseries. Through his hard work, discipline and attention to detail, Nature’s Choice has since doubled in size, providing bagged and bulk pine bark products to customers throughout the southeastern United States, including Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and northeastern Florida.
In January 2004, leadership of Nature’s Choice was passed on to Julian’s grandson, Drew Thomas. Under Drew’s supervision, Nature’s Choice continues to expand and thrive. Drew is committed to providing the same exceptional level of customer service and product selection, maintaining the tradition of integrity established almost 30 years ago by his grandfather.
